FIRESIDE MULLED GIN RECIPE – A NEW WINTER RITUAL, STRAIGHT FROM THE FIRESIDE

FIRESIDE MULLED GIN RECIPE – A NEW WINTER RITUAL, STRAIGHT FROM THE FIRESIDE

Winter has a way of slowing everything down — the light, the conversations, the pace of a good dinner. So why should gin be the fast, fizzy thing you left back in summer? Fireside Mulled Gin is our answer: a slow-simmered, spice-laced way to enjoy gin when the frosts roll in and no one wants to leave the couch.

We steep apple juice, lemon, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and juniper berries into something that smells like every Greytown winter kitchen ought to, then let it cool before Fireside Premium Gin (available to buy online in 375ml and 750ml flasks) joins the party. What lands in your mug is warm, aromatic and just sweet enough. Serve it after dinner instead of dessert, or right alongside a wedge of something sharp and cheesy. Either way, it’s a very good excuse to gather people around, again.
