FRENCH 75 - KA-POW IN A COCKTAIL
Share
The French 75 (a.k.a. the 75 Cocktail or Soixante-Quinze), first emerged on the scene in 1915, courtesy of Harry MacElhone at Harryβs New York Bar in Paris and itβs been claimed that one sip hits harder than a 75mm French field gun.Β
Give it a local twist with GDCβs Manuka & Lemon Premium Gin, available in 375ml and 750ml flasks, and youβve got a gin cocktail that packs some serious French firepower. Serve it in a Huski Champagne flute and youβll feel fancy without breaking your budget.
- 30ml gin
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- 15ml simple syrup (thatβs a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar dissolved in an equal volume of water)
- 60ml Champagne
- Casually combine gin, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Shake well and strain into a Champagne flute.
- Top with Champagne.
