FRENCH 75 - KA-POW IN A COCKTAIL

The French 75 (a.k.a. the 75 Cocktail or Soixante-Quinze), first emerged on the scene in 1915, courtesy of Harry MacElhone at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris and it’s been claimed that one sip hits harder than a 75mm French field gun.Β

Give it a local twist with GDC’s Manuka & Lemon Premium Gin, available in 375ml and 750ml flasks, and you’ve got a gin cocktail that packs some serious French firepower. Serve it in a Huski Champagne flute and you’ll feel fancy without breaking your budget.

  • 30ml gin
  • 15ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml simple syrup (that’s a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar dissolved in an equal volume of water)
  • 60ml Champagne
  1. Casually combine gin, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake well and strain into a Champagne flute.
  3. Top with Champagne.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. Ready, aim...
