GIN FIZZ COCKTAIL RECIPE - SIP THE SASSY SPARKLER

The Gin Fizz had Americans bubbling with delight back in the first half of the 20th-century, earning a hometown claim down New Orleans way. 

For a local twist, Orchardist Premium Gin is just the ticket and available to buy online in 375ml and 750ml flasks. Get ready to shake things up:

• 45ml gin
• 30ml fresh lemon juice
• 10ml simple syrup (a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar dissolved in an equal volume of water)
• 1 splash (6ml) soda water 

1. Combine gin, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
2. Give it a good shake, not a sad wiggle.
3. Pour into your favourite fancy glass.
4. Top with soda water.
5. Garnish with lemon slice.

This spritzy classic practically shouts “summer in a glass” - citrusy and bright enough to light up your beach BBQ.
