STEAL THE SHOW WITH THIS COCKTAIL RECIPE - MEET THE WHITE LADY
Share
The White Lady (which also moonlights as a Delilah or Chelsea Sidecar) has a bit of a mystery pedigree. Either the brainchild of Harry MacElhone in 1919 London or concocted by Harry Craddock behind the Savoy bar, it remains classy, a little coy, and sure knows how to make an entrance.
An appropriately-coloured gin cocktail for when snowflakes start their dance outside, try with Greytown Distilling Co’s Frostbite (available to buy online in 375ml and 750ml flasks). Think pink peppercorns flirting with garden mint and a zing of lemon peel - precision in a glass, darling.
- 40ml gin
- 30ml Triple Sec
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- Egg white, simple syrup (a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar dissolved in an equal volume of water), cream or a whisper of Crème de Menthe - go wild, it’s your party
- Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well and strain into large cocktail glass.
Winter is coming? Good. This little number’s definitely not waiting for an invitation.
